Sid Bernstein Presents… – Film Tickets
The Documentary Edge Festival is underway in Auckland – Included is the fantastic music film Sid Bernstein Presents... which explores the American dream through the life of one of the most important pioneers in modern music history. A poor, adopted, Jewish kid from Harlem, Sid Bernstein became one of the most influential men in the music business. Among his many achievements, Bernstein was the first white promoter at Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater and the first to bring Ray Charles, James Brown and many others into mainstream venues.
